Baby gifts

Making things is one of my favorite pastimes.  I see something that sparks my interest, I read a ton of blogs, make notes, thing about a way to do it, and then execute.  A few of my friends are starting to have babies and I thought wouldn't it be nice to make something for them....a nice homemade useful item that makes life a little easier.

I found this great website (www.sewmamasew.com) and made a little sushi roll changing pad and diaper/wipe container.  It was easy to follow and just so cute when it was done.

Denver!

Excitement, anticipation, & nerves.....I'm heading to Denver. After a few auditions and interviews I was chosen as one of five ladies to join the Pure Barre South Jersey team. We all start training Thursday in Denver and I can't wait. Pure Barre has been this amazing life changing experience and now I will get to teach other ladies and hopefully inspire them to take their fitness and lives to another level.

I hope to continue to share my progress...blood, sweat....hopefully no tears ;)

When you are addicted to West Elm and want to purchase everything in the store, you need to think of a creative way to recreate.


I am currently teaching myself to sew via the fabulous book by Brett Bara, Sewing In A Straight Line.

This is what happened! So, I can sew a zipper on a pillow! Woo hoo

Cleveland Green

House Beautiful's March 2012 issue was based on the color Green.  I turned the pages and fell more in love.  I needed an accent wall to warm up the main living/dining room.  BM Cleveland Green it was!  See below.

During the day, it is a gold color when the sun hits it, and at night it has a nice olive green color.  I love this color!
